How Lunar began
Lunar opened it’s doors in October of 1999, in a tiny business starter unit in the coastal town of Maldon, Essex. We filled the shop to the rafters with treasures from far and wide, using small suppliers, who offered us a unique range of products.
From small acorns…
We quickly out grew that unit, and moved to a larger shop, and then an even larger one. Other businesses came and went, but we stayed strong, and continued to offer an expanding range of goodies, whilst building a reputation for a really personal, caring customer service. Many of our customers have become firm friends, and are still with us now, after 17 years trading.
